Bobsled Push Championships
2009 USBSF National Push Championships in Calgary, Canada
Athlete Support Criteria
The 2009 USBSF National Push Championships are scheduled to take place in Calgary, Canada from September 14-19, 2009. USBSF will provide full and partial funding for bobsled pilots and push athletes to attend the event. The following is a breakdown of the full and partial funding criteria.
Men’s Bobsled
USBSF will provide full funding for fifteen (15) athletes that includes; eleven (11) push athletes, the three (3) pilots from the 2009 World Championships and one (1) additional pilot. Full funding includes airfare (up to $600), hotel (up to $60 a night), per diem (up to $40 a day), airport transportation and track fees.
USBSF will also provide partial funding for all additional athletes. Partial funding will be tiered based upon the final ranking of the Push Championships and the total number of athlete participants.
Full and partial funding will be through reimbursement based upon the finish at the 2009 USBSF National Push Championships. The following is the breakdown of how full and partial funding will be distributed:
Full Funding
? The top 11 ranked push athletes from the 2009 USBSF National Push Championships will receive full funding.
? The three pilots from the 2009 World Championships will receive full funding.
? The highest ranked pilot, not in the 2009 World Championships, from the 2009 USBSF National Push Championships will receive full funding.
Partial Funding
? Will be distributed to all remaining athletes based upon a tiered system off of each athletes final ranking at the 2009 USBSF National Push Championships.

USBSF will provide full funding for nine (9) athletes that includes; five (5) push athletes, the three (3) pilots from the 2009 World Championships and one (1) additional pilot.
